Patchwork- Espeo- With a story

It was so hard, watching her throw me away, like a piece of rubbish. A rag, ripped to shreds, I was. Until that day came after my human gave me up forever, I thought all hope was lost. A simple, ripped up plushie with no one to hold me and love me. My nose was gone, my paws torn off, she’d even allowed for her stupid feline to rip off my ears and tail. The hole in my left leg was no where near the size of the hole in my heart, but it still hurt just as much, nonetheless. But then everything changed.

She found me. She was kind and gentle. She worked her hardest to find brown fur that matched me but had some trouble in a few places so she simply patched me up and gave me purple paws. Her hands were so soft and gentle, I was so happy to have her. And she seemed just as happy to have found me.

Her hands were so tender as she fixed me up and stitched me back together. As she placed me on her shoulder to rest, her hair would fall gently over my back. It was softer than my fur, much softer, and it was unbelievable how much she loved me. More than the little girl loved me and this girl, I believe, was a good decade at the very least older than my first human.

The day I came to life, she was shocked. Amused, but shocked. But it wasn’t a bad thing, it made her love me even more. It was easier to understand her, and I was so glad to her paws I could actually walk on. A tail to wag, new ears to twitch, and a brand new nose to take in all of the scents. I like the world much more now, not just because of my loving human who I know would never leave me and I’d never leave her, but because I can really take everything in now. Like the wolf I truely am, I can run with the wind, take in the scents through my nostrils, and howl to the moon with my human by my side.

Her back story sucks, I know. Shut up.

BTW, two things:
1- She's a plushie who's been given a second chance at life. This means, her anatomy shouldn't be perfect. Don't judge me, that's my excuse.
2- I realize she looks absolutely nothing like my fursona, Espeo, who we all know and love, but there IS a reason for this. As a plushie, colors are almost never perfect, therefore, why would Espeo be perfect?

If her story doesn't make it obvious, she was abused and the girl who found her [my currently unnamed student character] patched her back together and gave her a better life. The fact that she was abused is significant to me, so deal with her slightly cliche "plushie who was abused and ripped to shreds" story.
